Tony Dyson's Funeral Arrangements

Tony Dyson, the beloved creator of R2D2, passed away in his home in Malta on March 2, 2016. We are all grieving his passing. He was a wonderful man who was full of life. He was engaging, entertaining, and drew people in with his wonderful stories about the making of R2D2 as well as his other entrepreneurial pursuits.
Sadly, as wonderfully savvy he was with creating, money wasn't one of his strong suits. As the people who love him dearly, we are trying to make his arrangements. His wish was to be donated to science, because he wanted those to look into his brilliant brain. Sadly, due to the circumstances surrounding his death (he died alone in his apartment of natural causes), he wasn't found quickly enough to have this happen. We believe his next wish was to be cremated. We have gotten an invoice for this to happen, and the cost in US Dollars is close to $8000. Needless to say, this is more money than most of his friends have on hand.
Malta does not do cremation, so his body has to be shipped to his home country, England. This is the major expense and why it is so costly.
The money raised here will only go to his cremation expenses, nothing else. Once we reach the goal, this page will close. As you can see, time is of the essence because he is currently in a mortuary in Malta waiting for transport.
We have on hand, Tony's pictures he autographed when he attended conferences and comic cons. Sadly, they are not autographed, but I will gladly mail you a picture thanking you for your donation.
We would be truly grateful for any donation to help with his expenses. He was a wonderful man who gave his heart to his work and his fans.
Fans have questioned the cost of his arrangements. It is quoted in Euros 6449.60, and the current cost of the total is $7099.77. This rate fluctuates. I also have to incur international charges as well. I lowered the cost so that you know I'm just looking for this to be paid. I was estimating the other costs involved, lawyer fees as well.
