Support for Brogan

Donation protected
On July 22, 2014 Brittani Ivey was admitted to Baton Rouge General for complications in her pregnancy. Brittani was only at 23 weeks and was in serious condition with a very large subchrionic hematoma that was bleeding and could not be corrected or controlled. Because of the life threatening seriousness of Brittani's condition,  the decision was made to deliver Baby Brogan at 23 weeks. He was born on July 24, 2014 at 8:19 pm and weighed 1 pounds 4 ounces. Brogan will be in NICU at Baton Rouge General for months until he is fully developed and at a healthy weight. Brittani is recovering at this time and is expected to make a full recovery.

Brittani and her husband, Shea Ivey, also have two little girls; Presli, who is 2 1/2, and Alyana, who is 1 1/2.

Help is needed for unexpected expenses for the care of their girls, because Brittani is their sole caregiver, and Shea will be leaving for Illinois in about a week for job training.

There are also some associated medical expenses that are not being covered, and possible housing costs to keep Brittani near the hospital as she needs to provide the nourishment for Baby Brogan.

Any assistance provided will be very gratefully appreciated.

Yours in Christ,
The family of Shea and Brittani Ivey

Update: On July 26, 2014 Baby Brogan earned his angel wings and was called home to be with his Lord Jesus.  Funds will now be allocated for Baby Brogan's final arrangements and resting place.

Update: Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th, 1 PM, at the St Joseph Church Mausoleum, located on Rectory Street off of LA Hwy 44, Paulina, LA.
