I found out on Tuesday, October 8th that my best friend, love of my life, and my whole world has a form malignant cancer.
She is NOT just a dog, she has been my only source of stability, strength, and motivation for the last 5 years of my life. I do not want to say goodbye yet, especially, if there is a chance it is avoidable.
The move from Texas to North Dakota has completely wiped my savings and I have absolutely no other method of paying for her tests and a surgery to remove the cancerous growth.
The tumor is on her toe and is removable, if the cancer has not spread to her surrounding lymph node and lungs, but I cannot afford the initial vet visit to determine the her health status; that is why I pleading and begging anyone who knows me or Iris to please donate to this fund, so we can save her life or at least know how long she has left.
This is my ABSOLUTE last option and I would NEVER ask for myself, but I will ask for her sake. I have applied for several loans, credit cards, credit increases, asked family members, called for payment plans with the vets in Bismarck, looked into grants, etc., and NOTHING is available to me at the moment.
If the cancer has spread to other parts of her body, I will give up the fight, but if she can be saved, and money is the only obstacle, I can't give up.
I am attaching photos of the estimates for her tests and surgery for toe amputation, please give whatever you can. I will be eternally grateful for your support and kindness.
