Educational Trip

My kids, Raymond and Ariene, are seeking funding to help defray the cost of their educational excursions to Los Angeles and Oahu, Hawaii this summer. This trip will enrich their learning experience because each participant will be required to complete a 10-20 research paper on a variety of subject areas. The itinerary includes visits to several colleges/universities (University of Southern California, University of California Los Angeles, University of Hawaii Manoa) educational sites (Hanauma Bay, Pearl Harbor, Circle Island, Polynesian Cultural Center, etc.) The cause of inflation has dramatically increased the cost of travel and other expenses and therefore we are seeking assistance from our family, friends, and community to assist us in meeting our fundraising goal of $4,500.00 , which will cover the cost of airfare, meals and housing; other expenses will be covered by my sponsoring program. This enriching experience will provide them with the tools necessary to succeed in life and further build their portfolio for acceptance to the college/university of their choice.  Their exposure to the world around them is important as they continue to develop interpersonal skills critical to success in their future goals.
