Rally for Rob

On November 9th 2016 my big brother Bob Crosby, my first best friend and my partner in crime, got the news that everyone fears and no one is ever ready for. He was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, cancer of the mouth. What began with a small chipped tooth, and something that didnt even warrant much of a panic to Bob has now become the fight of his life. Realizing the seriousness of his cancer and finding out how hard this uphill battle will be made Bob's world stop... our whole family's world stopped.

My brother has always worked hard for everything he has, the family work ethic is something we are proud of. For Bob, dealing with the pain and sickness have been a struggle, but one of the hardest things he has had to accept is to stop working and not be the strong and independent and tough man that we all know and love. To have to rely so heavily on others isn't the life he wanted but he is pushing forward with what has been thrown at him, and he is staying positive and fighting with everything he has. Now we need to help him in this fight. Unfortunately, the dreams and the life Bob has given blood, sweat, and tears to build for himself is in jeopardy. The loss of work and the medical costs of his fight have put such a strain on him financially, which is awful in itself but made much worse by the physical strain of his cancer battle. Bob's house, which he loves dearly and has been in our family for a long time, may be lost if he cannot raise enough money to help offset all the time he hasnt been able to work.

I am asking for help for someone who would give the shirt off his back to help others. I am asking for support for someone who would never leave a friend behind and who would always be there when he is needed. My brother has a hard time asking for help, but now more than ever he needs us. Please give if you can. Anything helps and it all adds up. Lets all get together and show Bob he isnt alone in this fight and that together we can keep his dreams alive and waiting for him to get back on his feet... for him to get back to working hard for his life again.

As Bob fights for his health, I would love to have all of us in his corner; fighting with him and for him.
