Motivational Educators, LLC (ME)
is a new small business with an even smaller budget, and we need your support for our Reteaching After-school and Summer Clubs.

We are currently promoting our "Summer-cool Academic Camp" to help struggling students retain and gain academic understanding over the summer. Please share this page with anyone you know who can donate or will share our fundraiser.  We are starting with one camp for rising 2nd - 6th grade students.  The amount needed to help one low-income student attend the camp for 7 weeks is $350. ($50 per session)

$3,500 would provide full funding for 10 students for 7 weeks. However, ANYTHING you contribute goes towards making our summer program a success.

Our student-driven programs merge creative expression and academic content. We incorporate academic raps, songs, movements, apps, online resources and real-life connections to keep students engaged and excited about learning. Using the Smartphone to our advantage, students are encouraged to use it for something besides social media posts or taking a selfie. :)

Our goal is to motivate, strategically educate and build confidence in students to make them active participants in their education. We strive to help children become the best version of themselves, as they grow to become our future leaders in a rapidly changing world. Our rapping spokesperson Lady Lo puts it in more kid-friendly terms... “Put your best foot forward, new kicks or not. Be BEST you, give it ALL you got!”

To succeed we need to build an alliance between parents, students, and teachers. We are looking to partner with educators, administrators, community leaders, businesses and churches who possess a desire to help our youth, the resources, and/or a creative edge.

What we're working on
We’re currently promoting our Summer-cool Camp.  It's a reteaching club that will focus on curriculum based ELA  and Math, but our delivery is what will make it fun and engaging.

How we do it

Open Mic - ELA - Takes everyday conversations and transfer them to paper, based on the concept, if you can TALK, then you can Write.  Students tend to write less about topics they are not familiar with, and this inhibits their ability to develop writing skills through practice. By using topics students are interested in, we can then teach them to revise and edit their work.

We incorporate upbeat strategies with curriculum-based content while moving at a comfortable pace and working towards a common goal.  Our strategy combines editing, revision, spoken word, and debate to help students not only learn valuable skills, but have fun and retain the content.

Just the Facts - Math - We will go back to the basics (hence the name) and cover multiplication/division, addition/subtraction, and formulas. Students will make real-life math connections, hands-on applications, and work on building projects that require the use of math facts and formulas.

Our team

We are working with classroom teachers and parent liaisons to gain real-time insight, knowledge, and resources. This partnership will help us plan accordingly to better serve our struggling students.

Our problem

Unfortunately, a great percentage of students who are struggling academically come from low-income families and can’t afford to pay for academic support. We will focus mainly on low-income students in schools that are performing below the state level, or have a low equity levels. We’re currently offering the first week free for our after-school club, as well as referral and sibling discounts. This does not seem to be enough to meet the need of our low-income families, but it is all that we can do at this time. We are a new company who's owner suffered a major medical setback late last year.  Motivational Educators is up and running again, but our finances are lagging far behind.

Please consider donating to sponsor a student, or help with facility rental. Although we are not a non-profit company, your contribution will profit the child receiving it, their families, the educators working with them, and the world we live in.

Our company catchphrase is “Help ME Help You!”

It’s cute and catchy, but the phrase is taking on a deeper meaning as we move forward together to reach children who are struggling on the inside and acting out on the outside.

“Children are not the people of tomorrow, but people today… The unknown person inside of each of them is the hope of the future.”

Janusz Korczak
