Tina Harvey's Medical Fund

Our Fire Chief Tomas Harvey is going through a difficult time with his wife. His wife Tina Harvey has spent 18 months of the last two and a half years in the hospital due to health reasons. Tina has been fighting a rare disease called "Dermatomyositis" it a disease that affects the esophagus, the lungs, and the heart. It has also debilitated her to a invelent state to were she has a feeding tube, and has to have constant 24 hour care which insurnace does not pay for and Chief Harvey has to pay for out of his pocket on top of all the occuring medical bills. Chief Harvey is a retired Captain from the Arlington Fire Dept. for over 30 years. Chief Harvey retired from the city of Arlignton back in Sept 2013 and Chief accepted the Fire Chief position with the City of Princeton in Nov 2013. Between running a busy combination department and then having to take care of Tina on top of the caregivers that he pays for out of pocket Monday-Friday when he is on duty at the fire station. Chief is starting to hurt mentally with stress and financially due to having to pay for everything out of pocket and for what the insurnace doesn't cover for over the past 18 months to 2 years. We are asking for people to help in donations in any way they can to assist the Fire Chief in this difficult time in his life. Chief would never ask for anyone to do him this big of a favor, but as his brother and sisters of the fire service we try to take care of the person that takes care of us.
