Buying A Double Bass For College

I am a senior Double Bassist at Baltimore School for the Arts and I am in need of an instrument for my college studies. I have been accepted to University of North Texas School of Music, DePaul School of Music, Ithaca College School of Music, Eastman School of Music, and Oberlin Conservatory. I have been playing bass since fouth grade and have been using instruments borrowed from my schools ever since. With those instruments, I have been able to raise money in order to attend camps such as Peabody Bass Works and Interlochen Summer Center for the Arts. I have also won the position of principal bassist in the Peabody Youth Orchestra with a plywood bass from my high school. All funds raised by this campaign will go towards buying an instrument of my own, since I will have to return the one I am using currently as soon as I graduate in June. With this instrument, I will further my playing ability while I study in a conservatory setting. I would be eternally grateful for any and all contributions towards my artistic endeavors.
