Buy Back Senator Cassidy's Vote

Betsy DeVos and her husband have donated $70,200 to Senator Cassidy ... and now HE is the deciding vote in her nomination to lead the Department of Education.
DeVos would be a disaster for public education in our country. She wants to allow guns in public schools, and dismantle public school funding in favor of privatizing education. She also aligns with non-mainstream anti-LGBT viewpoints.
We can't allow Cassidy's vote to be bought like this, so let's "buy" it back!
(Of course, ethics do not permit us to bribe Senator Cassidy, so the donated funds will not be used to bribe him; instead, they will be donated to Southern Poverty Law Center's Louisiana Office , which is dedicated to ensuring that all Louisiana children have equal access to public education. However, donors will commit to giving serious consideration to donating an equal amount to Senator Cassidy's re-election campaign if he will recuse himself from Betsy DeVos' confirmation vote in light of his serious conflict of interest.)
