We believe a less stressful Christmas involves less time in the kitchen, and more time having fun :) This is why Jessica and Mallory will be preparing the food in the kitchen (with the help of those volunteers under the age of 30), as well as providing the gifts for the family in a sort of “white elephant” fashion. No gifts or secret Santa will be taking place this year, instead we have fun activities and German alternatives for gifts and games. Based on our questionnaire results this was suggested as an alternative to our usual Christmas name drawing.
We hope that this will alleviate some of the stress put upon the wonderful Butler family clan during the Christmas season.
If everyone could send dates in the Gregorian calendar year that are the very most important to them, the coordinators would be quite glad. Be it a birthday, anniversary, a graduation or whatever stands near and dear to your heart. No date left behind.
We do ask however in addition ask that everyone send us a list of songs you would like us add to a Spotify playlist that we will make for this special time.
It is important that everyone understands that this is going to be a LAID BACK family gathering, and that people go home with lots of positive memories, new friends and irreplaceable souvenirs.
With your donation you support a dinner, a gift for someone in the family and some awesome activities.
Remaining funds will be put toward spontaneous additional activities through out the holiday.
We ask as well that people send their favorite photos that show your most confident you :) this request will be fully explained and clarified in the big man’s (Santa, Jesus, Guy Fieri, whoever cooks your potato) holiday.
