Burt's Emergency Vet Costs

Hello Everyone, I want to start by thanking you for taking the time to read about our beloved 4 legged monster Burt. Burt came to our family almost 4 years ago via a Great Dane rescue in Texas and has become such an integral part of our family that life without him is something that we struggle to wrap our heads around. 

Earlier this week, Burt managed to run out the front door and despite our best efforts of catching him, got himself injured in the worst of ways. Unfortunately due to hurricane damage, the fence in our community is still down and Burt ran into oncoming traffic and was struck by a car. We were able to quickly get him to a vet hospital and they were able to stabilize him, but in the meantime, the medical bills have more than accumulated. While Burt didn't have any broken bones, the multiple lacerations to his legs and lung damage from the impact have been enough to keep him in doggy ICU up until this morning. We've tried our best to pay for his care, but now we're at the point of needing some assistance to get Burt back on his feet and home resting.
