Burned car replacement for family member

Earlier this morning at 4:50am --right before the morning prayer-- a dear family member's car quite literally burst in flames. The car is completely destroyed. We don't know what exactly happened and no suspect has been identified. When my family and I found out the news and hurriedly rushed over, the owner said in the most humbling calmness: "At the end of the day, it's just a car. My family is safe and that's all that matters." Despite this, I know how difficult this is going to be for his family, not just for the material loss, but precisely because he uses this car as his source of income for his family. 

I am asking myself and my beloveds to see what we can do to help him in a time of need. We are raising money to buy him the same car, at the same price: $25,000. What is the purpose of community if not to reinforce each other in times of need? What is gentleness but an expression of dignified selflessness, especially when there is no benefit for you. Whatever you can contribute to financing his car, whether it be $5 or $100, walahi anything helps. If we carry the load on more backs, the burden of replacement will feel less heavy, versus it being solely hinged on his family. I know for a fact this initiative can change their lives. Bismillah, I know my people will come through. May the Most Generous open our hearts.
