Bunny Baker goes to Disneyland

You might know Bunny from her tenacious skills in MHCD's housing department, through her appreciation of and involvement in her community, amidst her commitment to her family or her fight against terminal cancer. No matter your role or your connection, Bunny Baker has, no doubt, left a positive impression on each of us.

Now we have the opportunity to turn that positive impression into a dream come true.Let's make Bunny's wish to take her grandchildren to Disneyland this October a reality!

Here's what we know about her fight:

She is fighting stage 4 Sarcoma cancer. This rare type of cancer affects about 10,000-15,000 people every year and when identified in stage 4 has no cure. She is currently receiving Chemotherapy daily to prolong her life and minimize the rapid growth of her tumors. Unfortunately her tumors are not fully responding to the treatments as we would hope and are still growing.

As a part of Bunny's wonderful community we need to rally together to make donations, spread the word and make this dream come true. This website will close October 1, 2012 in order for the family to make travel arrangements.
