Hello, my name is Sophia and I recently saved a baby bunny who I named George :). He was going to be killed merely because he was the runt of the litter. I would not let this happen so I took him home and gave him all the love he deserved.
I am away at college, a thousand miles away from him and I have just found out that he has a bad broken leg. It's up at the joint and it is going to take extensive surgery that most veterinary hospitals don't perform. The other option is to amputate his leg ( which actually may be the better option.) He is a fighter!
We will need to make this decision soon, but either way it is going to be very expensive for me to pay for the surgery and I do not have the funds for it. It is heartbreaking to me that I can not simply hand over the money to help my bunny.
That is why your help and donations would mean so much to me and George. He is only 6 months old and deserves to live a longer life. He deserves a chance to fight.
