Are you a keen aviator and would like to support an initiative that could make aircraft history in East Africa?Could you help us open up the affordable aircraft market in Kenya?
We have the vision to see the first light aircraft building company in Eastern Africa. The objective is to successfully design, construct, certify and fly the first prototype light aircraft. If successful this will eventually pave way for full development and production in the African market. We are looking to raise £10000 (1.4million KES) which is required for the significant workshop support, procurement of materials, construction, testing and certification with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
If the 2 seater prototype is successful the next step, through further research and development, is to push the boundaries towards the production of affordable and reliable aircraft for a wide range of users. Which could range from personal, educational, agricultural, wildlife, military, medical, administrative and humanitarian applications.
The current research of light aircraft market in Kenya has produced promising results towards the development. Captian Felix, the founding member and visionary of this scheme even attempted to build his own aircraft in his early twenties. This done with no aviation experience and flight training. He is older and wiser now and realised a solid grounding as a trained aviator is required. He put himself through flight school and is now a fully qualified pilot. His dream to build an aircraft, the right way, is still alive and this, the prototype, will serve to introduce the potential of a very affordable, custom-made light aircraft to Kenya
Your kind support will help the project literally get off the ground and help mark an exciting step in African Aviation history.
