Build Classroom & Workshop at BgBj

 

BGBJ is a hostel and community hub located at
Bantar Gebang, the largest landfill in S.E. Asia.
Over 3000 families live at this unique place, making
a living from informal waste work. BGBJ limited exists to
support this community by providing education,
employment and equipment to locals and
international visitors. 

The donations from this GoFundMe campaign will directly pay for the extension of the classroom and building of the Workshop to upskill the locals.  BGBJ children will be given a safe space to learn to read, communicate and grow. Youth and adults will learn trade skills and upcycling projects at the Workshop to assist gain income and a better standard of living. 

We need the funds by the beginning of June to buy materials for building the extension and Workshop. 95% of all donations go directly to the project (5% goes to GoFundMe). It doesn't get much better than that.
