MARTIAL ARTS CHANGES LIVES
Respect, perseverance, overcoming challenges, achieving goals, hard work, dedication, awareness - These are only a fraction of the fringe benefits of martial arts training that has the power to change lives. Learning these powerful lessons during the formative years of youth provides the next generation with a major advantage later on in life. We want to help make martial arts accessible for all!
To date, you have helped us put 44 deserving kids through martial arts that otherwise might not get the chance.
THE BUDO YOUTH FUND
A legally formed, non-profit entity whose sole purpose is to provide grant funding for deserving youth to begin their martial arts journey. Budo Brothers donates 10% of our profits to the fund, but we need your help to reach our next fundraising goal. Last round saw us raise $10,000 and we successfully funded 10 different kids as well as the IncredAble Adaptive MMA program that helps kids with disabilities learn and grow through the arts out of the Jackson Wink MMA Academy.
We want to increase our fundraising goal by 50% and raise $15,000 for our second round so we can continue this incredibly rewarding work and fund as many deserving kids as we can.
100% OF EVERY RAISED & DONATED DOLLAR GOES STRAIGHT TO THE CAUSE
There are ZERO management fees, NO games, NO salaries, NO reimbursed expenses, and NO creative accounting. We put in the volunteer hours to make each dollar go as far as possible.
HOW THE GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS WORKS
A family member will fill out the application to the best of their ability and clearly outline why their son or daughter should be selected from the many applicants to receive grant funding to get started on their martial arts journey. We then do our due diligence to make sure the instructors have a dedicated youth program that focuses on growth and empowerment. Once due diligence is complete and everything checks out, we will then shortlist the top candidates and take them to our selection committee to narrow down the winners. Each successful applicant can receive up to one year of tuition from the Budo Youth Fund with funds being direct deposited into the instructors account.
WHAT WE ASK FOR IN RETURN
All we ask for in return is regular updates on each grant winner's progress, and to be able to help share the stories of all the powerful transformations that take place. Our primary objective with The Budo Youth Fund is to inspire more parents to put their kids in martial arts, and with your help, together we can make this happen and change lives!
