Bryson WILL beat leukemia ❤️

As if our family hasn’t endured enough tragedy.   After Bryson’s recent bout with the chickenpox, he never fully rebounded from that, leaving his poor little immune system drained.  He was taken to the doctors because he was very tired,  not eating and his labs were in the tank. They flew him to Rady’s Children’s Hospital in San Diego, where he underwent a bone marrow biopsy which revealed his diagnosis as acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Words a parent never wants to hear.  At just 16 months old, he will be starting chemotherapy tomorrow for 5-6 weeks with one week to go home and back again for 5-6 weeks.....6 months of chemo and maybe 3 trips home to sleep in his own bed.  With this being said, the financial toll on the family will be great.  Work has been put on the back burner for now while Ryan and Apryl (due with baby girl in April) live at the hospital with Bryson but also having to make trips back home to try to keep things as normal as possible for Lexoni, who is unable to see her baby brother (because she’s under 18 per hospital policy) except through FaceTime.  I pray for Bryson’s full recovery and that this wonderful family will be together again soon
