Bryce needs a leg to stand on

Donation protected
Bryce had everything right in front of him. Turning 19, just finished high school, was 2 weeks away from starting his first job at Toyota motor manufacturing Kentucky,  when on a Sunday afternoon on his way to visit his girlfriend, a guy with nothing to his name except the uninsured car he was driving crossed over to Bryce’s side of the road on the crest of a hill and him Bryce head-on.  I suppose it’s best that I never knew the guys name, although the police said that he had three addresses, two of which were in Florida.  That person died on impact.  Bryce’s life was spared by the grace of God.  Bryce’s truck flipped and caught fire and had a broken seatbelt.  No one knows how he got out on an open fracture, but it happened.  Bryce was rushed to the hospital and they did the first of what would be seven surgeries over the next 4 years to save his foot.  His life came to a stop.  He lost his truck, he lost his job he hadn’t started, he even lost his girlfriend after a year and had no prospect of caring for himself.  Bryce sat in his room for 4 years trying to get past the pain and the trial of being non weight bearing, or rather not being able to put weight on his foot.  After 4 years Bryce got a second chance at life by having his foot removed on May 15th, 2018.  Bryce needs encouragement and a future.  I ended up having to sue my own insurance to get him some help but after a half a million dollars in surgeries, Bryce needs be able to move on and will need more than I can give him.  We will need adaptive devices the rest of his life which includes a leg.  I have not even been able to give him a chair to sit on in the shower let alone the means to get him to his appointments.  We are looking to rebuild a life, put a positive pathway, a doable pathway in front of Bryce.  He wants a college education in computer programming and the freedom that everyone around him has.  He wants to run and do the normal
things that the rest of us take for granted.  If you find it in your heart to give to a good cause, I can’t think of a more promising one than Bryce.  He wants to break out of the prison that has held him bound for 4 long years.
Who am I?  I am Bryce’s Father, and he lives with me and my wife and our youngest son that has Downsyndrome.  We live in Georgetown Kentucky. I am the one who takes care of Bryce’s necessities such as a roof over his head, food in his mouth and make sure he gets the care that he needs.  The reason for this fund is to specifically pay off the doctors and hospitals that are still owed from before. To pay for future hospital bills still yet to come and to pay for the adaptive devices that he will need to regain his independence as he moves forward such as the physical therapist, prosthetic, the many trips to the doctor for adjustments and changes that will come as he needs them.
Thank You to everyone who has a little to spare.  To give a shoulder, to give a word of encouragement, to give a moment to help equal the load.  We should all be blessed with each other so that we all can be equal to each other and there not be any need amount anyone.  Bless you.
