Bryan's Eye Surgery Fundraiser

November 17,2016 Bryan Hernadez was attending his second period class at Mike Moses Middle school in Nacogdches, TX. While he was sitting at his designated desk unexpectedly two students in front of him started arguing. The student infront of him swang her hand with a sharp object(unknown at this time) and stabbed Bryan in the LEFT EYE leaving him in pain and unable to see. He was sent to the nurses station to get triage by the nurse once arriving at the nurses' station all the nurse did was put a 4x4 gauze and call his mother when his mother arrived she was informed by the nurse at the school to take him to his family doctor (at this time the teacher, the nurse or anyone acknowledged how serious the injury was). When the mother picked up her son he was in excruciating pain. Bryan is a smart, bright, tough 14 year old but when his mother saw in how much pain he was, she rushed him to the local emergency room. From there they told her he could not be treated there due to the trauma to the eye and was sent to a local Eye specialist in town, once seen by the local eye specialist they realized how serious the injury was and was sent to Texas Children Hospital in Houston, TX with a 9 mm laceration to the left eye. Once in Texas Children Hosptial Bryan was taken immediately to surgery and received 17 stitches to the eye. With instructions to come back for follow ups and future surgeries that  will be required to save his left eye sight which requires of CATARACT EXTRACTION AND PENETRATING KERATOPLASTY (CORNEAL TRANSPLANT). Bryan's family does not have any medical insurance nor the funds to cover the cost of his coming up surgery and with the school not cooperating and denying any financial help, we are asking for your HELP. Bryan requires of the next Surgery in 2-3 WEEKS. Any donation are greatly appreciated.
