The Brunswick Football Club (Brunswick Junior FC, Renegades Women’s FC & Brunswick NOBSPC) are seeking community support to raise funds for lighting at Clifton Park Oval in Brunswick.
With the growing popularity of junior and women’s Australian rules football, and with more than 20 football teams now in the Brunswick Football Club, it is becoming increasingly difficult to accommodate all our teams’ matches and training sessions at our home ground, Gillon Oval.
Council has granted the Club access to Clifton Park West in Brunswick; however, the ground has no lighting, which makes evening training and twilight games impossible during the football season.
In partnership with Council, the AFL and the local community, we are raising funds to enable the installation of oval lights at Clifton Park West. Improving the sports facilities in Brunswick will give both juniors and seniors, male and female, greater opportunity to play, train and get involved.
