If you knew Bruce, you know you had a friend for life. Sadly, his life ended unexpectedly in the early hours of Oct. 30, 2017.
Unfailingly interested in everyone and everything, Bruce was unstintingly generous. He was one in a million-- a true friend, incomparable savant, and a larger than life personality. I think his heart was just too big to last. Whether you needed his knowledge, caring, spagetti sauce, or sympathetic ear, if approached, Bruce would provide. He had a worldwide network of friends from high school through adulthood, and he somehow kept up with many of them. Bruce impacted the life of everyone he met, including hundreds of students over the years.
Bruce was scheduled to come home from the hospital the day he died. It's unknown how his estate will be settled. However, it is sure that his last hospital stay and funeral will need to be paid for before things are settled. If you would like to help with a donation, it will relieve significant pressure on Bruce's longtime partner.
