Help for Bruce and Christine Green

Dear friends,
Many of you know Bruce and Christine Green through their beautiful artwork that they have shared across the country for over 40 years. They are beloved parents and grandparents, and good friends to so many. You've probably heard by now that they were involved in a terrible accident while traveling to an art show.
On April 12, while driving to Delray Beach, Florida, Bruce had a heart attack which caused him to lose control of their RV and crash into a tree. The heart attack has left him in critical condition and Christine broke her wrist in the accident. Bruce has since been in the ICU on a slow path to recovery. Upon a more full recovery, Bruce will be given an internal pacemaker, but he will be out of commission for while. This is a scary time for the family and community that love Bruce and Christine as we all await news of his condition.
The positive news is that Bruce is becoming responsive to people talking to him and at times can open his eyes.
So many of you have generously reached out to offer your prayers and Bruce's family is overwhelmed and deeply touched by the care and support that you've all shown. Since the accident, Christine has had to indefinitely cancel their participation in upcoming art shows because Bruce has a long recovery ahead of him and will need her full attention and care. Additionally, Christine and Bruce are far from home and Christine has had to move into a hotel and depend on a rental car because their RV was totaled in the accident. This has created an unexpected hardship for them. At this time, Bruce and Christine would be grateful for any financial help you could offer to defray the costs. They are still unsure how long his hospitalization will last and how long they will need to be away from their home.
Thanking you again for your wishes and prayers. Helping them out will greatly relieve the additional stress on Christine and the kids.
