Brockton Y Girls Detention Unit: Art Program

Hi Everyone!
As some of you know I have been volunteering and teaching art at the Brockton Y Girls Secure Detention Unit with ages 11-21. While the time is free to give, the materials are not and I am trying to raise some seed money to cover these expenses.
The residents here are either recently committed to the Department of Youth Services and waiting for placement in a treatment program, or detained for future court dates. Our art class is part of their Wednesday night routine right before they go to bed, and a good way to alleviate some of the stresses of their current situations. In addition, all left over funds will be left to support incoming programs or activities for the girls. Anything helps and we really appreciate it! Thank you!
