After a successful campaign, winning gold in the 14-15 year, 48-51 kilogram category on the Gold Coast in February this year, Brock has once again been selected to represent Australia at the Junior World Muay Thai Championships in Bangkok in August 2017.
Muay Thai is a high impact, contact sport contested in a controlled safe environment. Muay Thai teaches respect, confidence, physical and mental strength and control. All of these keys are beneficial life skills that are highly valued in both a child and adult.
Brock is not just representing Australia but also his amazing local Kalgoorlie club
Kanchana Thai Boxing.
With little to no funding available for this sport, all travel, accomodation, registrations and insurances are entirely self funded.
Brock has an impressive 6 wins out of 8 fights spanning over the last two years.
He trains relentlessly , up to 5 times per week, then can double that in preparation for a fight campaign. He is no stranger to sacrifice when it comes to his Muay Thai because of his passion for the sport.
