Britni Duncan's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Britni was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma a Tumor the size of a Lemon on Friday the 13th of January and had to be rushed to Seattle for tests and surgery. They found no other lumps and it was determined not to be cancerous.  A Shunt placement was done on Saturday the 14th to relieve the pressure. The Tumor removal was done on Januray 25th.  The surgery was expected to be 12-15 hours and it took 17 HOURS.
Yes you read that right, Britni endured 17 Hours of Brain Surgery!
Her recovery has had it's ups and downs including a recent scare that returned her to the er where they discovered that  she is leaking spinal fluid which will result in another surgery scheduled for Monday February 13th, 2017 to locate and the stop the leak.  This requires that they go back into the brain via the same surgical site and it is expected to take upwards to 2 hours or more.

Britni cannot work during  her recovery not even housework!  And CANNOT  be left alone.  As of now they have no income coming in.   She has completely lost the hearing in her left ear and it will never come back.

Britni will face additional surgeries in the future once she's recovered from this part of it.  She may also require radiation.

Britni and Rory are both currently unemployed and have 3 wonderful Teenage children that can all use our support.  Many many members have donated meals and their time in various ways to help Britni while she is in Seattle and her children are here in Forks trying their best to "live normal lives".

And as many of us know life keeps going on even if we're brought to a stand still, so with that being said they have bills coming in, utilities that need to be kept on and kids that need our support.  Parking fees in Seattle alone are outragesly high.  Rory has taken temporary residency there to care for Britni and Britni's mother Cindy along with many community members have been here to support the children.

There's no way to determine just how much this will all add up to but we can spectulate that it's gonna be well beyond any one of us could afford.

At this time they need funding to pay the bills, to care for the kids, pay for parking, meals away from home etc. It's the everyday living your life stuff.
