We welcome in 2016 knowing that we are matched with a beautiful special needs little girl who is waiting for her forever family to come get her.
We started our second adoption process knowing that it would be a struggle financially, but more importantly we new that there was a child in China in need of a family, and our family is here to welcome her home. We did not plan on the process the second time to move so quickly, which brings us to our need for support to help bring our daughter home. We have reached a point here in early 2016 that we are praying to have all of our funding in order as our approvals for travel arrive so we will be able to travel to China in early spring.
The funds we are looking to raise will help cover the Chinese orphanage fees along with our airfare to China. We were fortunate to have been matched so quickly with an amazing little girl who was abandoned at the age of 2 weeks, and spending over 5 years of her life in an orphanage not knowing what a family is, will be welcomed home very soon. She is a special needs little girl who is diagnosed with having delayed development, but recent reports we have received show that she is doing extremely well with the support that she has been receiving.
Bringing her home as soon as possible will help with her development and more importantly bring her home to a family which she needs and deserves. Any support that is offered will be going to bringing Whitney home to her forever family!!!!!
The fee schedule for the adoption is expensive, but we have to look past the numbers and remember that we are growing our family with a beautiful addition of a special little girl who once home will continue to grow in a loving family who will provide her with every opprotunity to be anything she wants to be when she grows up.
