Bring my moonmate to a safe place

Bring my moonmate to a safe place: my arms.

Juan Pablo Guilarte is a young, smart, kind, good and lovely guy, living in Venezuela. He's one of the best people I have ever met. I am not joking.
He's my mate.

I am Ana Ferreira, I'm luso-venezuelan, which means that I have double nationality: Portuguese and Venezuelan.

I was born in Caracas, in 1995.  In the year 2000, I came to Portugal with my family, where we stayed for nine years.

In 2009 my family and I went to Venezuela again. I was fourteen. We lived in different areas of the capital, but we lived in the city center for the last years. That was when and where I met Juanpi, on 2013. (And yes, that's the nickname he likes to be known by).

I fell in love, instantly.

But then and finally, I moved again to Portugal. On 2014.

As you probably might have heard, Venezuela is going through a very difficult situation.

The politics and behaviour of the current self-called communist government have conducted the country to a ‘humanitarian crisis. Finding groceries and medicines is an herculean challenge for every Venezuelan family, regardless of their social status.

High crime and homicide rates are a plague in the streets everywhere across the nation. In the midst of such chaos, government officials have proposed stopping the migration of Venezuelans to other countries; due to the great exodus that has taken place in the past few years.

Venezuela
is a beautiful country, blessed for its geographical position with the best beaches of the Caribbean, the nicest weather that doesn't experience seasons, all the beautiful natural landscapes, the friendliest people, etc. And still, we want Juanpi to leave.

The country is currently experiencing the worst economic, social and political crisis of its history due to a government that has been in power (by force) for more than 19 years.

Our goal is to take him off the devil's place, because we know is getting worse every day and we are young.

The first step is to buy the flight. It costs approximately 1.000€. It always depends on the booking dates.

Then, we're planning to ask for asylum in Portugal, by the time he arrives to the airport.

I will write a letter, an invitation, explaining that I wanted him to come to visit me, and that he will stay with me.
I'll be responsable for him, while he stays in Portugal.

We're thinking about (and looking for), a job for him. I'm currently working as a marketing manager, in Porto. But he will come with nothing but his bags and his soul.

I know there are some posibilities to earn a visa: for studying, for work, for volunteer actions, etc.

We'll try hard to find a way, legally, so he can safely stay with me and start a new life in a better place.

I am here to ask for your help. Here's how you can help:

- You can share this.
- You can donate (every single coin, counts).
- You can help us with information.
- You can give us contacts.
- You can support us, and write me!

(I want to know if you know someone that has tried or is trying something similar! I want to hear all the stories).

You can text me directly or you can search for us on facebook too, if you want.

I WILL UPDATE THIS, CONSTANTLY.
