Hello everyone,
My name is Nova, I am creating this gofundme page on behalf of my mother who has been in the UNMISS camp in South Sudan for the past two years! Alot of you may not know this, but South Sudan has been in the state of war for the past two years. The cause of the war is tribal, money, power and greed among government officials, who simply do not care for the wellbeing of thier citizens; as a result hundredths of thousandths innocent people have lost thier lives. Fortunately, my mother is one of the lucky ones that made it into the UN camp. Although she is considered safe there, the conditions are inhabitable for someone of her age and conditions (she has artheritis) She is in dire need of support.
I am the sole provider for my family because i am the only one who resides in Canada. However, I am finding it extremly difficult to support myself and my family of 6 back in Africa. At this point all i want is for my mother to be reunited safe and sound with the rest of my family in Ethiopia. Unfortunately, because the roads are dangerous for people from my mothers tribe (Nuer) only an insider can safely transport her out of the camp, the negative thing about that solution is that it require a lot money; which is why i am on here. The insiders with connections will relocate people from the camp, if given a small fee for thier services. I have been trying to save up for this, but find it rather difficult because i am constantly having to send money for medical bills and basic neccesitities inorder for my family to survive the repercussions of the war.
It would mean the world to me to have my mother safe and in better conditions so that i may be able to reunite with her along with the rest of my family someday. I appreciate your time and generosity .
