December 4, 2017 Update:

We are currently needing to raise funds for a Tabletop Pulse Oximeter for Breanna. It's a machine that reads your oxygen levels and heart rate simultaneously. Unfortunely, this device is not covered by Medicare, so we have to pay for it out of pocket. I found one for $875.00. It's the same model that they are using in the Nursing Facility. Here's the link: https://www.concordhealthsupply.com/Nonin-7500-Portable-Tabletop-Pulse-Oximeter-p/non-7500.htm

This is necessary because Breanna cannot swallow.  The machine alerts when a patient's oxygen levels drop and they need suctioned via their trach. I would not feel safe bringing her home without one, and only recently found out that it is not covered by insurance.

Thank you for considering helping with this device. It is truly a life saver. GOD BLESS!

Sincerely,

Christine

October 2, 2017 Update:

We recently found out that Breanna has to stay in the nursing facility for up to 2 months, because of her Medicaid benefits. She's on a program called the MFP (Money Follows the Person). I found out by calling for a home modification for the Geri Chair that we purchased for her from donations. The chair won't fit through the front door, or her bedroom door.  Thanking God that I made that call! If we would have brought her home, not knowing about the program, she would have LOST her benefits, which also enables us to work in home health and take care of her!

This was overlooked by SEVERAL caseworkers, and came completely out of the blue. My boyfreind, Ray, and I will be taking care of Breanna when she comes home. She'll require 24/7 monitoring and care as a trach patient on oxygen.

Not only do we need to raise money for Breanna's treatment for Lyme disease, we also have to survive until she gets home and are able to start working in home health. We are both unemployed because we thought we would have her home by now.

We haven't moved into the mobile home yet, and are still staying with my mother because we can't afford the ultilities until we bring Breanna home.

Please help if you are able? We have came so far. Breanna is very sick, and I am also growing weary from the lack of finances. I just want to finally get her home, so we can begin treatment for the Lyme disease and begin to get her well. ❤

Thank you, in advance, for any help that you are able to give.  Thank you, for all of the help that we have received, also! Prayers are welcomed! God Bless!

July 27, 2017 Update:

Breanna was transferred back to the Skilled Nursing facility today. She went through two rounds of antibiotics last week; one for pneumonia, and another for a UTI. The doctors agreed to give her an natural remedy called D-mannose for the UTI. They also agreed to let her start on a more potent probiotic called Mega Sporebiotic.

The dietitian at  the hospital increased the dose of Liquid Hope from three to four pouches a day, because she had lost weight from the last time she was admitted there.

Breanna has a severe case of Leaky Gut (Intestinal Permeability). This is causing blood poisoning.  (Sepsis) Her immunity is in a state of crisis. WE HAVE TO HEAL HER GUT ASAP!

I do have some great supplements in my arsenal to get her started on.

The following are the current supplements that we need to raise funds for.

1. L. Reuteri Probiotic Powder - $115.00

July 15, 2017 Update:

We are getting very close to being able to bring Breanna home! We are almost at the finish line, but we still need your help.  We are only a couple of weeks away from bringing her home, as long as we can make the home a SAFE environment for her. Breanna needs a long list of supplements and a professional HEPA Air Filter, so that is our primary focus for raising funds right now. I'm ready to get her home, on the path to a true recovery. ❤

If you are new to her story, it was necessary to get another home for her because of her breathing issues. When the mobile home was moved here a few months ago, the electrical cords were cut in different places, so the electricity only works in parts of the home right now. The septic is installed, but we also have to finish the plumbing, so although we have water, we're in the process of getting it all finished.

Breanna has many health issues, so we are in the process of updating  her new bedroom. The carpet was removed from her bedroom, and our local Methodist church donated new laminate flooring for it! They have been so kind, as well as our Facebook freinds. I'm truly thankful for everyone's help.

I ordered a special Non-VOC Paint that is antimicrobial and kills and prevents mold, so when that shipment arrives we can begin painting and laying the new flooring.  We found a leak from the master bathroom to the walk in closet in her room, and the insulation in the wall has MOLD from water damage. Breanna has mold illness, so we now need to make sure that it is professionally removed.

Breanna just got out of the hospital yesterday, and is now back in a skilled nursing facility. I desperately wanted to have the home ready by now, and have her home.

Breanna has been away since April, 2016; over a year now. By the grace of God, Breanna survived a cardiac arrest last June, 2016, due to dehydration during a short stay at a rehab facility, while recovering from pneumonia. It left her paralyzed, but she is slowly coming out of paralysis a year later. She also had a tracheotomy after the cardiac arrest, and is still a trach patient. She has either been hospitalized in ICU, or in a Ventilator Care Facility all of this time. She has recently weaned off of mechanical ventilation, and is now breathing on her own. Praise God!

The Day of Cardiac Arrest : (  June 17, 2016

Breanna has suffered TERRIBLY, but has refused to give up fighting. She is determined to make it home and survive. I am HEARTBROKEN that she has been through this nightmare. She is only 27, and I DESPERATELY want to get her home and nurse her back to health. I LOVE MY DAUGHTER, SO VERY MUCH!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Breanna has also been diagnosed with Lyme Disease! She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis six years ago, but I suspect she has had Lyme all along. The good news is that she can be treated for the Lyme Disease, but her Medicare insurance will not pay for treatment. The standard of care in Western medicine is to treat Lyme with antibiotics. This is not an option for Breanna because she now has Chronic Lyme Disease. She has severe intestinal issues, Leaky Gut Syndrome, and a chronic case of blood poisoning called Sepsis, due to the Lyme disease and many  co-infections.

I was fortunate enough to purchase another home for her, to bring her home. I sold what assets I had, and started from scratch with a mobile home on our family homestead. Getting the new home was necessary due to mold issues in our old family home, where she resided before she was hospitalized in April, 2016.

Breanna's New Home & Ramp

Due to a recent donation, we were able to get started on the Septic System for the home. I am beyond grateful for this person! Without the help, we couldn’t have got this far.  My brother is also helping cover up the septic system next weekend, and get the water line ran to the home. Thank God, for people who care, and my brother!

Septic System Install

A local Ministry is going to help with what they can, in getting her bedroom as close to a hospital setting as possible, so her environment is safe and will not cause any breathing issues. Prasie God! I think they may be able to help getting the carpet out of the room, at least, and replace it with non VOC flooring. Although the electricity is now turned on, we still need to purchase the electrical supplies and get it wired to the home.

Please find it in your heart to help us bring her home.
We need to raise as much as possible, before we can start working in home health, taking care of her. I found anexperienced Lyme Doctor , who agreed to accept her as a patient. We will also need to purchase supplements and herbs to get her started on her recovery program.

I am beyond grateful for all of the help that we have received from our Facebook friends! I sincerely thank each and every one of you for your kind comments, prayers, and generous donations. We are almost at the finish line #TeamBreanna! Please find it in your heart to help us get the rest of the way, if you can afford to do so. No donation is too small!

All donations will go toward making her room safe, getting her hospital records to begin new treatment, necessary health supplements, clean water, and purchasing her tube food, Liquid Hope.

GOD BLESS MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER! GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS!

Sincerely,

Christine, Breanna & Family

May 13, 2017  Update

Breanna is currently back in the hospital in ICU, being weaned off of a ventilator. She weaned off of the vent last month but suffered a set-back due to a  severe urinary tract infection. She is on a feeding tube. Her food, Liquid Hope, is still not covered by her insurance. Because she is back in the hospital I cannot proceed with trying to get it covered by Medicare until she is back in a nursing facility or at home.

Liquid Hope costs approximately $800 a month and is medically necessary. It is an all organic, highly nutritious food for tube fed patients. I've been paying for it out of pocket since last October, but I am very low on funds and am also trying to get a mobile home set-up to bring her home. All other commercial formulas have high fructose corn syrup in them, and made Breanna even more sick when she was on them, that's why I had to switch her to Liquid Hope. Liquid Hope has literally saved Breanna's life, and continues to do so. Once I can get her home, I can blenderize food for her. We have enough Liquid Hope to cover her for approximately one month.

Thank you for reading our update. Please help us? I desperately want to bring my daughter home and need all of the support that I can get to do so. She's been away from home for over a year, hospitalized and on a ventilator for 6 months. We will be VERY grateful for any and all donations! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Sincerely,

Christine & Breanna

Started: April 8, 2017

This GoFundMe is intended to help bring my beautiful daughter, Breanna, back HOME. She is a Lyme disease patient, and has been hospitalized or in a Nursing Facility for an entire year, due to repeated cases of pneumonia which required a tracheotomy and breathing ventilation.

Brief Medical History
Breanna was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in April of 2011 at the age of 20, just before her 21st birthday. At the time of her diagnosis, she was working full time, had completed a couple of semesters of college, and rented her own apartment. She was SMART, FIESTY, and FULL OF LIFE. (Not to mention, beautiful!)

Before Lyme

As her mother, I am heartbroken. I have slowly watched my daughter's health deteriorate before my eyes over the last six years. I cannot think of anything more painful to witness, because it is a completely helpless feeling, knowing that you are doing your best, while witnessing your child suffer, with a poor quality of life due to the debilitating symptoms of what we thought was Multiple Sclerosis.

All of the FDA approved medications for MS simply "slow the progression" of the disease, have many adverse side effects, and more importantly ARE NOT A CURE for Multiple Sclerosis. Breanna had been on monthly Tysabri Infusions for many months during the progression of the disease.

Tysabri Infusion - October 24, 2011

In December 2015, Breanna got pneumonia and required surgery for a PEG tube, so she is tube fed and can no longer swallow. She got pneumonia again last April. Her health took a turn for the worse during a short stay in a rehab center while recovering from the pneumonia. Tragically, she went into cardiac arrest  which caused Anoxic Brain Injury, seizures and paralyzation. After the cardiac arrest, she required tracheotomy surgery to stay on a ventilator.

I have been devastated by these tragic events, but I thank God every day that she has survived through all of this. She has been ventilator dependent for the last six months, but is currently weaning off of the vent in a Specialty Hospital! Praise GOD!!! She is gradually recovering from the cardiac arrest.

Purpose For This GoFundMe
I recently had a mobile home moved to our family homestead for her. The hot waterheater sprung a leak in her old bedroom at my mother's residence, and the air quality is not safe for her to return there, so it was necessary to get another home due to her respiratory issues.

I need to raise funds to  get a Septic System installed ASAP, for when she is released from her current stay in the hospital.  A Septic Engineer has been kind enough to quote me this low price, for a full Conventional Septic System, after hearing Breanna's story!

Breanna's Newly Arrived Home

Having this home will help us afford to pay for her future supplements, which are not covered by health insurance, and give her a place to heal. She's on Social Security Disablity and I work in Home Health, so I can take care of her when she's home. So, we don't make a lot of money. I gave up my business as a Web Designer, to be able to take care of her full time.

She's been on oxygen and has officially been weaned off of the ventilator since April 9th. Way to go, Breanna!!! We need the Sepic System installed ASAP, because she can only stay in this Hospital for about 2 months because of her insurance coverage limits.

Bringing Breanna Home Will Help Her Recover
During the course of the last year, I've done tons of research on how to help improve her condition. Six months ago, I ordered a  hair analysis, because I suspected that she may have Heavy Metal Toxicity. Unfortunately, the results came back positive, but this explained why her health declined so quickly. I then found and hired one of the very best Heavy Metal Toxicity Specialists in the nation, Connie Fox, to help her recover and detox.

In my research, I also found an all organic food for tube fed patients called Liquid Hope. It's covered by Medicare and Medicaid, but I have not been able to get it covered yet, because she's currently in a hospital. It's expensive and costs almost $800.00 a month. Once I get her home, there will be no problem getting it covered by Medicaid with a Dr.'s prescription. This is a very crucial part of bringing her home. The Liquid Hope has literally helped save her life! When she initially started on the other formulas, filled with High Fructose Corn Syrup, she got even more sick.

Breanna was on a Personalized Nutrition Program, written by Connie Fox, while staying in a Ventilator Care Facility, two hours away from home, for five months. (October, 2016 through March, 2017) I sold what assets I had to move and be there with her during such a  difficult time, and get her established on Connie's protocol. We were very fortunate that the doctor at the Ventilator Facility was open to the Liquid Hope and Nutritional Program, and it literally saved Breanna from malnutrition.

I also hired an Autoimmune Specialist while she was in the Ventilator Care Facility, who had Advanced Laboratory Test "Arrays" ordered from Cyrex LabsThese tests have revealed that she has Lyme disease and co-infections. She also has sensitivities and antibodies to many Industrial Chemicals and Heavy Metals, and a severe case Leaky Gut Syndrome.  Her body is bearing a SEVERE toxic overload, but we know how help her!

The Autoimmune Specialist also recommended an Intranasal Light Therapy device, which I purchased for her. She has shown a lot of cognitive improvement after using the device, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone suffering from any type of brain disorder or injury.

Intranasal Light Therapy

Now that we know how to SAFELY help her, it REQUIRES GETTING HER HOME, and time, to consistently stay on the Nutritional and Detox Program. This nutritional program has literally saved her life, and she needs to stay on it to get better.

I love Breanna more than anyone on the face of this planet, and will do everything that I possibly can to help her. Please help me, help her? I have watched her suffer for LONG ENOUGH. I DESPERATELY want to bring my baby girl HOME. She is my only child, and the light of my life!

Thousands of Dollars Later
After moving out of town for five months, purchasing her Health Supplements, the Liquid Hope, paying for the Lab Tests and Specialists, I spent the last of my savings to move the mobile home on my mother's property, pay for a Water Tap, and have the land Surveyed by an Engineer. Once we get the Septic System installed, I'll have a decent home for her to return to. I have longed for the day that I can finally bring her HOME, to get her well.

I've shed many tears that she has suffered through all of this. She deserves to get her health back, in the comfort of her own home. I can't fathom the thought of her going back into a Nursing Facility.  She'll be 27 in May. She's young, and has a chance of fully recovering.

Lyme is a terrible, painful, and debilitating disease, that no one should ever have to endure. My heart goes out to the MANY people who suffer from Lyme, their Families, Caregivers, and Friends. May God give you all strength, and help you RECOVER once and for all.

If you are kind enough to donate to help #BringBreannaHome, please know that we BOTH THANK YOU VERY MUCH. No donation is too small. We will be forever grateful for your help, prayers and support!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Sincerely,
Christine, Breanna & Family
