Bring Ali to Connecticut college

Hello world,
I am Ali from Kabul, Afghanistan. Currently, I am finishing my high school at the British International School, Phuket (BISP) in Thailand. Two years ago, I managed to win a full scholarship to BISP in order to study International Baccalaureate (IB).
It was not easy to attend an English school while living far away from family, friends and comfort zones of my hometown, Kabul city. I believe that in order to gain something , we must give something in return. After overcoming the challenges of Afghanistan and Thailand, now I dream bigger in terms of pursuing quality educations abroad. Luckily, I am accepted to Connecticut College, one of America’s prestigious colleges in the New England, USA. I have received % 92 scholarship which covers all my academic tuition and board needs. However, I need your generous help to do a fundraising of about $6,000 for travel, health insurance, books and other associated living costs while at Connecticut College.
Therefore, I am calling on the generosity of people in the world to help me to get to the next level of my academic path.
Hereby, I am providing more details on my activism and aspirations for a better future. I am passionate about education and volunteering to engage with the communities. For the last three years, I have been involved in initiations that promote support for young students who cannot afford education in my hometown, Kabul city. I am hoping to expand my activities once I am at Connecticut College and even make partnerships with some local NGOs to have more larger impact.
Moreover, I have been active and it is worth mentioning some of my extracurricular activities that I am most proud of.
1. Football (Video included): Since 2014 until now, on average, I spent 10 hours per week where I used to be the Captain for the Marefat High School s Futsal team. Now at BISP, I am with Cruzeiro Academy team as a high-performance player. I participate many training sessions on daily basis while also I compete at tournaments throughout the year.
2. Public speaking (Video Included)
From October 2015 to March 2016 at Marefat High School in Kabul, Afghanistan, I participated in a huge competition where I was chosen as the best Public Speaker and Debater due to the speech that I delivered to more than 500 teachers and students.
3. The Model United Nations (MUN)
I have been actively joining the MUN weekly gatherings at BISP for the last eight months. I have participated at different MUNs in Afghanistan and at BISP. MUN is a great activity where I managed to improve my Public Speaking skills and also add to my knowledge of International Relations. In addition, at BISP, I was selected as the best delegate in The Model United Nation (MUN) among more than 50 other students.
4. “Let’s Support Women” Campaign:
During International Women Day, the March 8, 2016, I organized an event to appreciate the women s critical role in our daily lives. For a long period of time women had very little or no freedom at all in Afghanistan and worldwide. The aims of this activity was to demonstrate respect, cooperation and congratulating international women’s day to the women who % 50 of every society. In Kabul, we went to Aliabad Hospital where lots of women were hospitalized and we gave them flower and a veil as a gift that showed them how much we supported them because they are always a significant part of our society.
5.“Let’s Fly a Kite for Peace” :
While the war in Afghanistan severely continues, and many lives gets ruined, then violence, insecurity, and destruction of the infrastructure are the legacies. As a group of teenagers, we decided to come together and fly kites for peace and show to the world that we are tired of war and we want peace more than anything else.
