Bring Notabelle Home for Funeral

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Notabelle Johnson, born on August 20th, 1926, passed away after 92 wonderful years. Notabelle passed while living far from her family in Houston, Texas. Our family, located in Philadelphia, PA, is now faced with the pain of losing a dearly beloved member, without even being able to see or take possession of the body without first paying the existing storage bill and the great financial cost of transporting her body thousands of miles.

We currently lack money to pay the storage and transportation costs, and as a result, Notabelle's body has been in storage in Texas for weeks already. Unable to have any kind of funeral and knowing her body has been away from home, being kept by people who do not know us or her, who are demanding large costs to release it, has suspended our family in a state of grief. These bills are also increasing by the day. The last estimate given was that it would cost several thousand dollars to bring her back to Philadelphia, and as much as $10,000 for funeral and burial costs.

Notabelle was a kind, charitable, Christian woman who wanted nothing more than to help those around her. Now we must ask the public at large to help us bring her home, lay her to rest, and have a funeral service in which our love can finally be expressed. Please help us give a wonderful woman the send-off she deserves, and help us move towards closure. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for any help you can offer.
