Bring Nikita Home

Donation protected
My Name is Joseph L. Cook retired NYPD police officer.  Was stationed in Hanau Germany 1958 where I met my wife Lydia Koch.  Upon keeping company with my wife she informed me that she became pregnant the year before through no fault of her own.  And was forced by her mother to put the baby up for adoption against her will.  I married my wife in 1958 the baby who was born as Rosita Koch was already gone from the adoption agency and we lost all hope of ever finding here.  Fast forward to 2017 thru  My Heritage  DNA website we had our DNA done and a year and a half later we received a message from My Heritage that a person by the name of Nikita Volcova was attempting to contact us.  We accepted the call and a few hours  later Nikita called us sobbing and crying having found some biological family . Nikita is the daughter of Rosita Koch who we found out was adopted by an Air Force couple from Indiana by the name Shuford.  Nikita explained my wifes daughter whos name was now Heidi Shuford has passed away in 2014.  Nikita' mother Heidi became pregnant and ran away from home and ended up in Vancouver British Columbia and pre maturely gave birth to Nikita who was not expected to live as she was 4 months premature.  Heidi left Canada under the impression her baby died and the baby was put up for adoption without Heidi's knowledge.  The family that adopted Nikita raised her for 9 years then the mother died and the father placed Nikita in foster care and she has been on her own with no family for the past 32 years shoved from foster care to foster care and abused and ended up living on the streets eating out of dumpsters and doing what ever a 14 year old needed to do to survive. Nikita is currently 42 years old and suffers severe migraine and arthritic condition.  She works when she can as a member of a rapid response team for drug overdose.  She lives in the worst part of Vancouver in subsidized housing.  Lives on partial disability as has to eat in the soup kitchen.  Nikita's mother was a naturalized American citizen, she has two brothers and a sister that are all born American and we would like to bring her to America to reunite with her family.  We have Contacted our congressman Mark Meadows they attempted to help as much as they could but it is such a unique case there is no State Department policy for this case.  The funds would be used to hire an immigration attorney and also pay to bring her to the United States to meet her family.
