Celebrating The Life Of Nate Stallworth

Donation protected
A few times in life you are lucky to meet someone who infects your life with just a smile, brightens your world with their laugh, and brings joy to you with their energy and excitement for the day. But when you do meet those people, it's hard to forget them. It's hard to not want to be around them. And it's even harder when they are gone.

On Nov 9th 2019, one of this worlds brightest lights was tragically extinguished. Our friend, Nate Stallworth, was riding his moped to the beach in Vietnam when he was struck from behind by a driver and killed instantly. Nate loved being outdoors, on a bike of any kind, and loved celebrating life wherever he could with who ever wanted to join him.

Nate was loving Vietnam. He was teaching kids and thriving in this new world. Such a departure from NYC or SEA. But now we need your help bringing him home from Vietnam and set to rest next to his family in Washington. The fees associated with this are substantial and I know Nate would help you in anyway he could were the rolls reversed. Unfortunately, they are not. And we need to be there for him and his family.

We are also hoping to fund a celebration of life event once he's home. We want to make sure his family does not have to bear the cost of this event as well. If you are able to help in anyway, please rest assured we'd like you to join in any celebrations for Nate that are put into motion from your generosity.

This financial goal is set for bringing our friend and family member home so we can say goodbye. But, I'd also like to challenge us all to think of his son Jaylen and his eventual needs. All funds not used for bringing Nate home and his service will go directly to Patricia, Jaylen's mom.

If you knew Nate, you knew he loved his son. I personally was super proud of the father Nate was becoming. Some of my favorite conversations with Nate were around the idea of parenthood, being a man, and what fatherhood might be like. Nate was incredibly loving and proud of his son. Jaylen had just turned 6 the day before Nate's passing.

Let's bring you home Nate so we can celebrate our friendship with you and tell stories of how you were a blessing to us all. R.I.P. Nate... you'll be missed more than you can ever imagine.
