I am Darcie DeBiase and I am starting this GoFundMe to raise money for my sister, Ali, who you all know and love.
On December 18th Ali suffered a stroke that completely rocked our workld. Because of this stroke we found out that Ali has a rare vessicular brain disease called "moyamoya." Ali was born with this disease and it causes Ali's blood vessels to become blocked/clogged which is why she had a stroke.
As a results of this stroke, Ali had to have brain surgery to promote more blood flow to her brain to prevent future strokes. Although the brain surgery went well, Ali was still unable to walk, talk or take care of her self after the surgery was over.
It was then that she started her LONG journey to recovery including speech, occupational and physical therapy to bring her back to her best self.
We are still very much in the rehabilitation stage and we need your help to ensure that we can continue to give Ali the therapy and care that she needs to get back on her feet!
We are looking to raise $10,000 to fund Ali's therapy sessions, nursing care, medications and medical bills.
It would mean the world to my mother, Ali and I even you can help support this cause in any way. Anything you can spare will help get Ali back on her feet.
