Bring preemie Parker home to B.C

In early September, my fiancé Ryan and I experienced something we never could have imagined happening to us. At 25 weeks pregnant, I went into premature labour. Our baby girl, Parker, was born over 3 months premature.
On top of the issue of having a very early baby, we were also on a 1 week vacation in Eastern Ontario at the time.. and we live in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
Parker is in Neonatal ICU in Hamilton, while I (mom) am living in the RMH close by, thank goodness for them! Up until recent, Parker's dad was out here with us as well. Unfortunately, with many bills, we could not afford to have her dad stay out here any longer and he's now gone home to work.
Our medical team has recently informed us that there is a solution that could bring Parker home - a medevac. This plane would be fully equipped to help safely get our baby girl back home where she belongs. The down side to this solution is that it is not covered by BC, Ontario or Canadian medical insurance and our travel insurance was void with her birth. This flight would be an out of pocket expense of $30,000.
Although Parker is in capable and wonderful hands out here, we really feel it is necessary to get her home to BC and transferred to a level 3 NICU close to home. Having our family spread apart in such a stressful and scary time is exhausting and heartbreaking. As well, BC doctors will be Parker's medical team once coming home to follow her through early childhood watching her development, and we feel it very necessary for them to know her as a preemie in a NICU setting to help them better treat her in the future.
I have checked over again with our social worker as to if there could possibly be any exceptions to getting Parker home and it's not something the government would pay for.
This is why we are hoping that the help of our fellow Canadians can help us bring our baby home and keep our family together. Please help bring baby Parker home to B.C! ❤
