Bridgette Condon's Recovery

The Condon Family of Shrewsbury NJ needs our help. My niece Meressa and her husband Sean are part of a typical family of five, raising Katie (10), Bridgette (5) and Dylan (3).  Their kids go through the normal everyday bumps, bruises and illnesses, just like ours ... and they always bounce back.  On September 28, 2018, the life they were living was sidetracked.  Bridgette Mary Condon, their healthy, precious little girl, had recently celebrated her 5th birthday surrounded by family and friends.  But on that Friday, Meressa brought Bridgette to the ER with a bout of croup.  What followed was an additional diagnosis of parainfluenza virus and pneumonia, resulting in Bridgette being placed on a ventilator due to respiratory arrest.  After almost 4 weeks, she remains in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a nearby hospital.  While she is not acutely aware of her surroundings, nor moving completely on her own, she is gradually improving.  Bridgette will soon be moved to a Children’s Rehabilitation Facility in North Jersey to start a long, arduous journey of getting back to being her sassy, precocious little five-year-old self.  The emotional, physical and psychological strains on their family are overwhelming.  While they have medical insurance, it will not nearly cover the out-of-pocket expenses that are accumulating.  Meressa and Sean have the love and support of the Condon and McCue families, as well as many relatives and friends.  They need to give Bridgette and their other two children their full attention in the upcoming months.  Any donation to help minimize their accumulating medical bills and out-of-pocket expenses would be a huge help and greatly appreciated.
