Brian's Medical Costs and Care

On a beautiful morning in July our world changed. I know it was a beautiful day because I was on vacation at the beach when my brother, Brian called to let us know he had a huge tumor on his kidney. They removed the kidney and we prayed that the removal of the tumor and affected kidney would make our world normal again.
God's plan was different and we learned that the tumor had matastasized to Brian's liver. We also found that we were looking at Stage 4 liver cancer.
The pain of that diagnosis is something that I cannot explain. Brian called and told me because he could not bear to tell our parents, the wound was far too raw. Sharing news like this with anyone is hard but going to my parents house that day was one of the hardest things I have faced in life.
Brian, who is a musician, writer, teacher, son, brother, father, and husband has been able to share this journey through his blogs, his music and his social media posts. I see daily that through all of this he is helping people who have gone through or are going through this. It is heart warming for me to see the affects that he has on people.
I have started this fund because he would never say that he needed anything from anyone, but he does. A new hope has come with the prospect of a new treatment, but these treatments are expensive. They will start within the next week.
We were afraid that when we said goodbye to him on November 14th that we would never see him again. We now have HOPE that we will indeed have more time to spend together. With your help we can make this happen.
