Brian & LaNell Langston's Cancer Relief Fund

In May, 2018 LaNell Smart ( my best friend since we have been in diapers ) married Brian Langston for better or for worse. Less than 1 year later they have been struck with the worst. 
     Brian recently had a huge blood clot in his leg. After many tests and trying to remove it to get better blood flow to his leg they found that the blood clot was from the ankle all the way up to his kidney. After a couple of procedures they found a cancerous tumor on his kidney that they believe is where the clot started to begin with. A few days later they removed his kidney, the tumor, and part of the Vena Cava ( the main vein leading back to the heart ). There were some serious complications during the long surgery but he had a great surgical team who pulled him through.  Brian is doing as well as can be expected. He is still recovering in the hospital with only a minor setback, but hopefully he is well enough to come home next week.
     They still have a very long road ahead of them. At some point there still needs to be testing to make sure the cancer didn't spread. Brian will be off work for quite some time and they just found out he has no short or long term disability. LaNell has not left his side this last week and a half, therefore, she has almost depleted her vacation time for the year. She hopes to return to work next week if he is released to go home, but she will have to take more days off for his appointments that are sure to follow.  Between all the medical bills and not being able to work, this will for sure be a financial burden.
