"Bri Wyatt's home lost to fire"

Donation protected

The Yuba wildfire exploded this last weekend into a raging firestorm that ripped through homes and scorched properties in a matter of minutes. Many people were victimized by this uncontrollable and unpredictable act of nature. One such victim was Brianna Wyatt.

Awoken by her boyfriend Tyler, out of a dead sleep at midnight as he heard banging on the side of her home. It was her landlord telling them they literally had minutes to evacuate. With sustained winds near 40mph, flames crested the hill as she fearfully grabbed her dog and her car keys and fled her home. By the time she ran to her car in bare feet (she had no time to grab her shoes), burning herself on the embers already settling on the ground around her, she could feel the heat from the fire already encroaching on the back of her property. Thankfully, she fled to safety...but tragically she was also driving away that night from the house she would never see again.

A full day passed before she received word from her landlord that the house had been destroyed by the blaze. It was a complete loss. Every earthly possession in the house except for the clothes on her back was lost and the only remnant that still stands is the charred woodstove like a grave marker amidst scorched earth.

In this time of need, we've set up this page in order to help Brianna begin to pick up the pieces. Although treasured keepsakes and memories of her first home can never be replaced, we do ask for help in getting her back on her feet and on the road to finding a new home and beginning to heal.

We thank you for time, your thoughts, and your prayers.
