In Loving Memory of Brenda C. Soto

Brenda Carina Soto was full of life, vibrant, intelligent, and beautiful inside and out. She was a healthy 16 years old who dreamed of being a cop one day, her love for people was admirable. Born on February 1st, 2ooo she was Monica’s only child and pride and joy. She was loved tremendously by her parents, family and all who knew her.

On Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 their life was turned upside as Brenda’s life was cut short when she was found unresponsive in a bathroom floor at Lake Braddock Secondary School by a student and teachers around 5:45pm after staying after school for chemistry. She was taken to INOVA where she was pronounced dead. She was surrounded by her mother and loved ones.

As a mother of a teenager I can only imagine the inconsolable pain Monica and Juan Carlos are going through from the loss of their child. This comes as shock to her family and friends. She was suffering from depression and was seeking help from professionals and was making progress, and with the unconditional love and support of her family.

There is nothing that will take the pain away... but any donations will help alleviate the stress of paying for the funeral and medical expenses. Due to unfortunate events she had no health insurance and her family desperately needs all contributions and support.

A vigil will be conducted at Lake Braddock SS details soon come, and I will keep everyone posted on all funeral arrangements and anything else that the family wants share. She will be greatly missed by many who loved her, her spirit and her unforgettable smile. The Soto-Loza Family would like to thank you for all of the kind words and contributions.

Brenda Carina Soto era una jovencita llena de vida, muy inteligente, bella por dentro y fuera. Tenia muchos planes para el future, queria ser policia., su amor por protejer y amar a todas las personas era algo admirable. Nacido el 1 de febrero, 2ooo era hija unica de Mónica quien amaba y estaba muy orgullosa de Brenda.

El Miércoles, 20 de Abril de 2016 a als 5:45pm su vida fue truncada. Brenda fue encontrada en el piso del baño de la escuela Secundaria Lake Braddock donde estudiaba, por una estudiante y profesores. Fue trasladada a INOVA Fairfax donde recivio primeros axulio trando de salvar su vida pero sin resultado alguna. Brenda fue pronunciada muerta, rodeada por madre y sus seres queridos.

Como madre de un adolescente sólo puedo imaginar el dolor inconsolable que Mónica y Juan Carlos estan atravésando por la pérdida de su hija. Algo que jamas hubieran imaginado, tanto los padres como su familia y amigos. Brenda sufría de depresión y estaba siendo tratada por profesionales y con el amor y apoyo de toda su familia.

No existe nada que pueda quitar el dolor que atravieza la familia de Brenda no contaba con seguro médico y su familia necesita desesperadamente todas las contribuciones y apoyo. ... acudo a todos uds que para pedir ayuda para los gastos medicos y funerales.

Brenda sera recordada y extrañada por toda su familia, amigos, companeros del colegio. Su espíritu y su sonrisa inolvidable jamas sera olvidada. La familia Soto-Loza estara eternamente agradecida por cualquier contribucion que pueda recibir.
