Brenda's Hurricane Irma Relief Fund

Brenda Garza, a Racker about to celebrate her 17th year with Rackspace, and her family has been displaced as a result of Hurricane Irma and is in dire need of our assistance. 

Brenda has been working remotely from Florida since her marriage earlier this year.  She has also taken on the added responsibility of watching over her elderly father who is a Korean War Marine veteran.  Although we (her team) is located in San Antonio, we setup this page to help a fellow co-worker and friend during this difficult time.

All her household items have been damaged/ruined beyond repair due to flooding containing raw sewage.  As a result, their home is no longer habitable, all their possessions are unusable, and their current situation is limited to whatever few items they were able to take with them when they had to evacuate.

Any money raised will be used by Brenda to secure living arrangements, provide for immediate basic necessities, replace unusable clothing, and ensure medical expenses are covered.
