Breckyn Montano

We were out on the recruiting trail when we saw Breckyn Montano a little over a year ago. We immediately fell in love with his talent on the field. As talented as he was between the lines he was an even better human being. The type of guy you want in your program, the type of guy that makes his team even better off the field as he does on it. He loved people and he loved life. Whether you knew him your whole life or were only blessed with a few minutes, Breckyn made an impact on you. The smile, the energy, the positivity. He had such an infectious personality that will forever be missed. He loved his team and his team loved him. His impact on the people in Sioux Falls, USF program, and community will be remembered far longer than the physical time we were blessed to have with him. 

We have heavy hearts in our program during this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers with his parents, Kevin and Tiffany, his family, his teammates, the Verrado community, and anyone that was privileged to know him. 

Your support for this amazing young man and family will be greatly appreciated. 

 Nicholas Breckyn Montano will forever be missed but never forgotten.
