Breast Cancer: The Road to Recovery

Donation protected
In 2018, almost 2 million new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed worldwide, and Belgium has the highest rates of breast cancer in the world. Almost every person knows someone (family, friend, mentor, etc.) who has been affected by breast cancer. The grim truth is that many women and men will become a part of this statistic in the future. Those who are fortunate enough to beat this disease may realize that the fight is far from over and the road to recovery is long. Many breast cancer survivors suffer from anxiety and depression long after medical treatments have ceased.

Our purpose is to raise awareness to help those who have been impacted by breast cancer and still require rehabilitation physically, mentally, and spiritually. The financial burden for breast cancer survivors may result in a lack of ability to continue therapy to fully recover, however with donations from our family and friends, we hope to provide survivors at the breast cancer clinic University Hospital (UZA) in Antwerp with the funds to attend rehabilitation therapy. Please consider donating in honor of a loved one. We thank you in advance for your generosity!

**If you would like, please participate in our "Donate and Dare" challenge. For every donation over 10E, you may post a DARE that you would like us to complete. We will film/photograph ourselves completing the dare, and share them on our facebook page!

Some examples: Eat hot peppers, do a conga line through a crowded street, serenade a random person, do 100 pushups.

Get creative!
