Breanna Kae Kinneman
That is what my Father would call this (now woman) when she was just a little girl riding his school bus.... and still to this day has not stopped. That is who she is to him.
Breanna Kae Kinneman was in a horrible car accident the night of November 18th, 2016.
"What happened?" do you ask... In her owns words "I had a fight with a deer and it won". She swerved to miss a deer on her way to River Falls, WI to visit a friend. Her car crossed the other lane of traffic, hit the guard rail and ended up in the ditch.
Breanna suffered severe injuries to both of her legs.
Now.... what to do? This is a game changer!!
Breanna will require around the clock care. Her normal daily mobility will NEVER be the same.
There is yet a long stay in the hospital that includes post surgery healing, physical therapy and much much more.
I am starting this Go Fund Me Account with the hopes that the loving extended family of the Kinneman and Knight families will rally!!! I have no doubts.
The upcoming months will present obstacles that no one in this family would EVER think they would have to experience.... They are going to need all of the support (in whatever form) everyone can provide.
Part of writing this description Go Fund Me asks...
"Why this means so much to you?"
Where to begin.... I LOVE this family with all of my heart.
We grew up together.... this is no experience a parent should ever have to live through. We need to be there for them....
This is a family that would do the same.....
I want to THANK everyone in advance from the bottom of my heart for helping this wonderful family in a very trying time. They will get though this.... Breanna will get through this.... They HAVE to...... But not without our help.
Pam called me last night and she has infections in both of her legs.
She will have surgery today (Thursday) and will end up spending a few days in the hospital recovering.
Please continue to send her prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery...
If you have made plans to stop on out to the house to visit just put them on hold for a few days...
Randy, Pam and Breanna are overwhelmed with the support from everyone....
It is truly a season of giving ~
I went to the house last night to see the Beautiful Bre....and that is exactly how she looked.
When I pulled in she was wheeling down the ramp wanting to get outside.... she shared that she was going stir crazy being cooped up for so long.
She is an amazing Woman.... Now stronger than ever and more determined to move forward with her new life... down a new road.
They are working on remodeling the main floor bathroom to accommodate her wheelchair and they will start ripping up carpet soon... they have a very plush carpeting running through most of the house that her wheelchair does not like too much.
With many "changes" being made at the home, Pam transporting Bre to doc appointments and Randy back to work the "going shopping" and "making dinner thing" has gone on the back burner... as it should be.
A few of us pitched in yesterday and brought out shredded turkey, buns, and a fruit platter ~ they LOVED it!!!
Donna Zerahn... baker extraordinaire has provided many many sweet treats... yum ~ but Bre is sharing the healthier the better.
So... why the postl? Some have asked over the past few weeks if they need anything? Others have mentioned "food train".
I want to express from the family how grateful they are for the OVERFLOWING amount of support they have received so far...
If anyone is interested in popping out to the house and check in on Bre and say "hi" they would LOVE it... if you happen to have a casserole, veggies, or soup I know they would accept....or come on midwesterners... anything made with cream of mushroom soup :-)
Bre is Prescott Bound...
The BEST pics ever are on her caring bridge site as well.... the MOST contagious smile ever...
Bre.... we LOVE you to the MOON and BACK!!!
She is on her way HOME!!!!!
