Many of you know our good friends Chris and Leia, the owners of Bread & Roses Books in the East Village. Many of you also know that last Thursday night, a vandal smashed their front window, along with that of many other downtown businesses.
Unfortunately, insurance is not going to cover the cost of fixing the window. Chris and Leia need our help.
We here at Brown & Dickson have come to know them as great partners in bookselling. They are great friends, great people, and great lovers of the written word. If you love books and you love local business, helping out Bread & Roses is a no brainer.
