Branden Mahoney Recovery Fund

Hello everyone, My name is Luke Mahoney and I am raising money for my little brother Branden Mahoney. My brother Branden Mahoney is in the hospital in Nevada fighting for his life. Branden was suffering from debilitating headaches for a few weeks and woke up on Thursday 2/28/19 unable to speak. He was taken to a local Clinic and was diagnosed with a serious infection. Branden was then sent to Reno on a Life-flight helicopter in critical condition. Branden then had an MRI done that revealed multiple abscesses in his brain. The largest of the abscesses measured 2" x 1.75". The doctors were amazed that he wasn't in a coma at the beginning of all this. Branden was immediately put on antibiotics and steroids to bring down the swelling so he could go into surgery. He had Emergency Brain Surgery on 3/4/19 to remove 4 small pockets and 1 very large pocket of infection in his brain to save his life. Branden's Mom and Dad as well as two brothers have flown into Reno to be with him. He has a sister that is unable to make the long journey from Alaska. BRANDEN MAHONEY NEEDS OUR HELP Branden is a wonderful and caring person. He has always been there for his family, friends , and strangers. He would give you the shirt off his back. It is our turn to be there for him. Branden and his family live in Washington state. Branden was in Nevada to work a new job but only worked for a few weeks before needing brain surgery. Branden is unable to work and his recovery road is going to be very long and hard. Branden needs our support to survive financially while he is trying to survive physically.
