Brady Maczek's Fight Against Cancer

Marriage is supposed to be a time of happiness and new adventures. Five days after Brady and Coral’s wedding, they were handed an adventure that no one should have to embark on. Brady was diagnosed with stage four metastatic cancer at the age of 28. He was urgently admitted to the oncology unit in Regina for chemotherapy. He spent the firsts few months of marriage in the hospital while Coral remained diligently at his bedside. Because of this, Coral was unable to work for the majority of his chemo treatments. Although Brady has completed chemo, they now have to fly to Vancouver for surgery on Christmas Eve to remove one of the few masses left. This is the first of possibly multiple surgeries. The Maczek’s will be spending their first Christmas as a married couple in the hospital and recovering from major surgery. Brady and Coral are required to stay in Vancouver for a few days once discharged to ensure everything goes well before flying back to Saskatchewan. Any funds raised will go towards flights, accommodation, food and incidentals as these are the responsibility of Brady and Coral. Any additional funds raised will be used for this and possible follow up surgeries that Brady needs out of province. Any participation will be greatly appreciated.

 
** Brady and Coral would like to spend an evening with everyone before they fly to Vancouver. We are currently looking into setting up a pizza/pasta fundraiser for some time before they leave.
