Help for Kathy

Dear friends and family, 

Although as hard as it is for me to write this I feel we are at the last stop for my mom and her cancer treatment. The last year has been the hardest so far and although she doesn't want me to do one of these fundraisers I feel like this is our last chance to simply give her some more time. The conventional treatments so far have caused damage and her body is simply too weak to continue. Shes currently fighting pneumonia for the second time and Dr's are very worried about her immune system. The clinical trials available could cause severe side effects like blindness, inability to walk and use her hands. After several long conversations with my mom, she has made it clear she simply wants to enjoy whatever time is left with her family and horses. We want to take her to a treatment center where they focus on holistic remedies, oxygen therapy and can help her body feel comfortable. They have said they cant heal her but they could give us more time and make her comfortable. They have amazing success rates but unfortunately, they don't accept insurance. Her blood clot medication is $700 a month and with her ongoing bills, it has become more than we can cover as a family. I'm hoping we can get some of Kathy's biggest fans and people who have watched her fight donate to help her give us more time with our mama.

About Kathy: Shes a mother, a grandma, a horse mom, a songwriter, a friend, she loves Jesus and for the past 2 years she has been fighting stage 4 lung cancer and has done it with grace and so much strength. Now were hoping to give her some more tools and treatment to keep her strong.
