Global Solutions Lab  Overview:

Crossroads High School, a first-year charter school in Kansas City, Missouri asks for your help to send 12 urban students to participate in the impressive Global Solutions Lab this summer at the United Nations in New York and Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.

The Lab presents an opportunity for 12 Midwestern teens to collaborate with peers and thought leaders from around the world, as they creatively problem-solve some of the world’s most vexing challenges, like extreme poverty. The Crossroads students were invited by Medard Gabel, author of Designing a World that Works for All.

The Global Solutions Lab will strengthen students' design thinking skills and will help them develop innovative solutions to issues they are most passionate about solving. Through this authentic learning experience, students will be briefed by the UN staff, present their solutions at the UN, and have their solutions published. The Global Solutions Lab will impart students with invaluable experiences, as well as the skills and knowledge that will equip them to leave an indelible impact on their community and the world at large.
